I am Anda-Marócsek Anita, the owner of Andaházi Tanyák Őre Kennel. My credo is: I LOVE DOGS! In our family the dog has always been a member of our family. It has lived with us, accompanied us, - has welcomed our guests, has guarded the house and the garden when we left home. I was socialized with dogs, and our dogs were always our appreciated mates. My love for dogs didn’t disappear, with my husband Roland we decided to have own dogs, as soon as we have a house with garden. Roland was deeply impressed by one of my best friends’ komondor, so he insisted on having a kom, but I wanted a German shepherd.
We visited many exhibitions and we collected as much information as possible about koms.We asked all our ‘thick’ questions, and then we started to search for our own komondor. Finally we made a compromise, and first my GSD Aida, and then our komondor Pasa arrived.
So this was the beginning of komlove. Since then we have had several koms led by the huge and respectable male Pasa his wives, and his issues. We got to know the kom as a balanced character, who can decide independently. We would like to make people know this loveable and excellent Hungarian breed. That’s why we founded our kennel, and we hope that in the future with the popularization of the breed more and more families will choose komondor puppies into their gardens, to guard the house and to be enchanted by the kindness and dignity of the dogs.
